An exceptional line-up: 9 out of 10
With the exception of world number one Jannik Sinner, who is suspended for three months from 15 February 2025, David Massey announced that this 118th edition will feature 9 of the Top 10 players on the ATP Tour. The following players will be in attendance: Germany’s Alexander Zverev (No. 2), the 2025 Australian Open finalist, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz (No. 3), the United States’ Taylor Fritz (No. 4), Norway’s Casper Ruud (No. 5), Daniil Medvedev (No. 6), Andrey Rublev (No. 7), Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 9), the three-time winner of the Monte Carlo tournament, and Australia’s Alex de Minaur (No. 10). In total, 42 of the Top 45 players will be competing on the clay courts in Monaco.
On the French side, Marseille winner and Rolex Paris Masters finalist Ugo Humbert (No. 19), Arthur Fils (No. 21), Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (No. 30), Gaël Monfils (No. 42) and Alexandre Muller (No.44) will also be present.
The single main draw will be completed by seven qualifiers and four wild cards, bringing the total number of players to 56. 28 teams will also be competing in the doubles main draw.

The 118th edition will open with the Draw at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, the official tournament hotel, on Friday 4th April at 5:00pm in the presence of Stefanos Tsitsipas, the defending champion.
The first weekend will begin on Saturday with a mini tennis exhibition at Mareterra, in the heart of the new district of the Principality, to the delight of children. They will also be celebrated on Sunday with a day dedicated to children, offering them a unique immersion in the world of the tournament.
