Summer Tournament

The 2025 Summer Tournament of the Monte-Carlo Country Club took place from July 26 to August 10 and welcomed 3rd category players, from the Non-Ranked (NC) level up to 15/1.

SUCCESS OF THE 2025 SUMMER TOURNAMENT

The Monte-Carlo Country Club Summer Tournament, open to players in the 3rd category, took place from July 26 to August 10, 2025, and was once again a great success thanks to the large number of participants—480 this year—and the presence of players from 16 foreign countries, including: Great Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden, Canada, Italy, the USA, Ukraine, Russia, as well as many participants from other regions of France: Hauts-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Pays de la Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, Corsica, Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Occitanie, Île-de-France, and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

In this highly international atmosphere, the good spirit of all participants and the high level of play were noteworthy. In particular, among the 40 Monte-Carlo Country Club players, the following results stood out: Monica TARTAGLIONE, winner of the Senior Ladies’ Singles; Jody ONNIS, winner of the 35+ Singles; and finalists Romain VIALE, Cédric VARLEY, Raffaella STIMAMIGLIO, and Alberto ARTIOLI.

PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY

On Sunday, August 10 at 6:00 p.m., the prize-giving ceremony for the 2025 Summer Tournament took place in the presence of Mr. Alain MANIGLEY, Secretary General of the MCCC; Mr. Yves Salaün, Deputy Treasurer of the MCCC and representative of CFM INDOSUEZ WEALTH MANAGEMENT; Messrs. Jean-Luc Allavena and Romain VIALE, members of the MCCC Committee; Mr. Ghislain POULAIN, Deputy for Sports representing the Mayor of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin; Mr. José De Almeida, Technical Manager of Bluelight Monaco; Mrs. Patrizia BONADA, Director of ICIS; Mr. Eric SEIGLE, Director of the MCCC; Mr. Eric DOMEREGO, Deputy Director of the MCCC; as well as Mr. Jean-Jacques ZARAGOSI, Referee, and his assistants Silvia MARCHI, Bertrand CANONNIER, Bruno CATELIN, and Steven JURCA.
