Summer Tournament

The Monte-Carlo Country Club Summer Tournament, open exclusively to third-series players, took place from July 29 to August 12, 2026, and was once again a great success, thanks to the large number of participants — 458 this year — as well as the presence of players from 16 foreign countries, including Great Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Canada, Chile and Italy. The tournament also welcomed numerous participants from various regions of France, including Hauts-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Pays de la Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, Corsica, Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.In this highly international atmosphere, the excellent sportsmanship displayed by all participants and the high level of play throughout the tournament were particularly noteworthy.Among the players representing the Monte-Carlo Country Club, special mention should be made of the excellent results achieved by Monica TARTAGLIONE, runner-up in the Women’s Seniors Singles; Raffaella STIMAMIGLIO, winner of the Women’s 55+ category; Jody ONNIS, winner of the Men’s 35+ Singles; Pierre FERMANIAN, semi-finalist in the Men’s 35+ category; and Frédéric VARANNE, semi-finalist in the Men’s 65+ category.

On Wednesday, August 12, at 6:30 p.m., the closing ceremony was held in the presence of Melanie Antoinette DE MASSY, President of the Monegasque Tennis Federation and the Monte-Carlo Country Club; Mr. Alain MANIGLEY, Secretary General of the Monte-Carlo Country Club; Mr. Michel MOURADIAN, Deputy Mayor for Sports of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin; Mr. Yves TAMAGNO of Blue Light; Ms. Patrizia BONADA, representing ICIS; Mr. Eric SEIGLE, Director of the Monte-Carlo Country Club; Mr. Eric DOMEREGO, Deputy Director of the Monte-Carlo Country Club; as well as Mr. Jean-Jacques ZARAGOSI, Tournament Referee, and his assistants, Silvia MARCHI, Bertrand CANONNIER, Bruno CATELIN, Valentin ROUSSEAU and Stevan JURKA, Supervisors and Referees.
