SUCCESS OF THE 29TH JUNIOR TOURNAMENT
The 29th Junior Tournament of the Monte-Carlo Country Club, held from July 1st to 15th 2023 was once again a great success.
401 young people had the pleasure of competing in an international atmosphere. The good behavior of all and the high level of play achieved are to be noted.
The Monte-Carlo Country Club is particularly proud of the good performances delivered by the 16 players from the Club who took part in this competition!
A special highlight was the triple victory of Camilla Charlotte Ambrosio (12 years old) in the Girls' 12 years, 13/14 years and 15/16 years categories, a remarkable achievement that confirms the talent of this young player. The M.C.C.C. also congratulates Alexandra Kjaer Budkova (12 years old) finalist in the Girls' 12 years and 13/14 years categories.
On the boys' side, Marco-Mattia Capitini (11 years old) shined with his victory in the Boys' 12 years category.
The M.C.C.C. extends its sincere congratulations to all of them!
After 15 days of intense competition in scorching heat, the Prize-giving Ceremony took place on Saturday July 15th, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
The occasion for the members of the Club Committee and the partners present to reward the winners and finalists: Miss Melanie-Antoinette de Massy, President of the M.C.C.C. and of the Monegasque Tennis Federation, Mr. Francis Truchi, Club committee member representing the ILTC of Monaco, Ms. Patrizia Bonada representing the company I.C.I.S., Mr. Niklas Graefen representing Mr. Günther Kreissel and Mr. Ghislain Poulain, Deputy Delegate for Sports of the Town Hall of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin also representing the Department of Alpes-Maritimes.
The Monte-Carlo Country Club thanks all the partners of this tournament as well as the referee, Jean-Jacques Zaragosi, and his team., Silvia Marchi, Bertrand Canonnier, and Bruno Catelin, who contributed to make this event a success.
